The wound packing Trainer Thigh is designed to allow users to demonstrate and practice wound packing techniques with suitable gauze for a large junctional arterial wound. The large femoral wound has a sim-blood delivery system for instructor-controlled bleeding. Too high up the leg for effective tourniquet use, training with this model improves trainee skill and confidence in treating this type of critical injury.
